About the Authors

Narayanan Veeriah holds a postgraduate degree in sciences, alongside the much- coveted professional qualifications as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Project Management Professional (PMP). With over 30 years of extensive experience in accounting, banking, finance, and information technology, Narayanan is a seasoned expert in these fields. Trained in SAP FICO, he has been a practicing SAP Finance Consultant and a Project Manager.

Throughout his career, Narayanan has gained substantial expertise in multiple SAP versions, including SAP R/3, SAP ERP, and SAP S/4HANA. He has played a pivotal role in managing various SAP implementations: new implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support for numerous multinational clients.

Until his recent retirement from IBM, Narayanan served as an Executive Project Management Professional (Thought Leader) and SAP Practice Area Leader. Following his departure from IBM, he transitioned to freelance SAP consulting, where he continues to make significant contributions to SAP consulting. Trained by Thames Valley University in the UK, Narayanan is also a professional trainer and a visiting faculty member, specializing in areas such as ERP, SAP, and Banking.

His profound understanding of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, coupled with his cross-module expertise, has led Narayanan to author several best-selling books on SAP Finance. His comprehensive knowledge and dedication to his profession make him a respected figure in the field of SAP consulting and training.
